Over the next decade, it is estimated that the Colorado construction industry will grow by 15% (2018 Talent Pipeline Report). According to a 2018 study by Colorado State University and the Associated General Contractors, there are currently 175,000 individuals in the construction workforce in Colorado. By 2023, the workforce needs to grow to 189,000 workers. Taking retirements into account, the industry needs to add 45,000 employees within the next seven years.
