What you will be doing:

  • Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and possible hazards
  • Load or unload building materials to be used in construction
  • Build or take apart bracing, scaffolding, and temporary structures
  • Dig trenches, backfill holes, excavate window wells
  • Pump water from excavations or trenches
  • Snow removal
  • Operate hand tools and basic power tools
  • Assist Builders with their duties
  • Maintain City Stormwater requirements set forth by OSHA
  • Tasks may require work in confined spaces like crawlspaces


  • Highschool Diploma
  • Homebuilding experience a plus
  • Motivation to complete tasks and take direction from multiple individuals
  • Own reliable mode of transportation
  • Strong drive for results is essential, requiring minimal supervision and being proactive
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly
